Urgent Relief for Jamaica: Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa
"My heart is breaking for the beautiful island of Jamaica and its people. As you've seen on the news, Hurricane Melissa has left a trail of devastating floods, destructive winds, and widespread damage. Families have lost their homes, livelihoods are destroyed, and many communities are now without power, clean water, and basic supplies.
I've created this campaign to provide direct, immediate relief to those hardest hit. The recovery will be long, but we can help them take the first crucial steps. We can show the people of Jamaica that they are not forgotten.
What We Are Providing:
Every single dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing and delivering essential items to families and individuals in affected areas.
"Funds will be used to purchase critical supplies which will be distributed through trusted local networks and community centers in the most impacted parishes to ensure help gets where it's needed most."
Here is exactly what your donation will provide:
· $2,000: Provides a Hygiene Kit for a family, including soap, toothpaste, sanitary products, and toilet paper to prevent disease.
· $8,000: Supplies a Food & Water Pack with non-perishable food, baby formula, and gallons of clean drinking water.
· $10,000: Provides a Emergency Shelter Kit including heavy-duty tarps, rope, blankets, and mosquito nets for a family who has lost their roof.
· $20,000: Can help fund a Rebuilding Kit with tools, nails, and basic building materials to start repairing homes.
· Any amount helps! Whether it's $100 or $5,000, your contribution will make a real and immediate difference.
Why Your Support is Critical Right Now:
The initial storm has passed, but the crisis is just beginning. Without shelter, clean water, and food, the situation becomes increasingly dangerous, especially for children and the elderly. We have a small window to get this vital aid into the hands of people who are suffering.
Please, donate what you can and share this campaign with everyone you know—on Facebook, Twitter, or WhatsApp via email, and with your family and friends. Let's come together to show the strength of our global community.
One Love. Let's help Jamaica heal.
Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and for being a part of this critical effort.
With gratitude,
