2. Eligible Refund Situations
Refunds may only be considered in the following situations:

Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transaction:
If your payment was processed without your authorization, we will assist in reversing the transaction upon verification. -
Cancelled or Suspended Campaigns:
If a campaign is removed by RiteGiving due to a violation of our Terms or proven fraud, we may issue refunds to affected donors, subject to verification by the payment processor. -
Duplicate Donations:
If you accidentally made multiple identical donations, contact us within 7 days for review.
3. Ineligible Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:

Donor’s change of mind after completing a donation.

Dissatisfaction with how funds are used by the campaign owner.

Campaigns that fail to reach their fundraising goals.

Delays or failures in reward delivery (if applicable).
Donors are encouraged to research campaigns carefully before donating.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:

Email support@ritegiving.com with your transaction details, including the campaign name, donation amount, and date.

Our support team will review the case and respond within 5–10 business days.

If approved, refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
Please note: Payment processing fees may be non-refundable as per third-party processor policies.
5. Campaign Owner Responsibility
Campaign owners must:

Use funds only for the stated purpose.

Respond promptly to donor inquiries.

Cooperate with RiteGiving in cases of refund disputes or investigations.
Misuse of funds or repeated refund complaints may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.
6. Platform and Payment Fees
RiteGiving’s service fees and third-party payment processing fees are typically non-refundable, even if a donation refund is approved.
7. RiteGiving’s Role
RiteGiving acts solely as a technology platform to connect donors and campaign creators. We do not control or guarantee:

How funds are spent.

The success or completion of any campaign.

Delivery of rewards or outcomes.
Therefore, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within the limits of this policy.

We may modify this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of RiteGiving after updates indicates acceptance.
